What we do...

10am service on the first Sunday of the month:
On arrival at this service, parents drop their children off downstairs, in the Junior Church rooms, where they are welcomed by a Junior Church leader and helpers. In different age-groups, they learn about the Christian faith through songs, stories, games and crafts. We return to church so that the children can be with their parents for communion.
5pm service of the third Sunday of the month:
At this Family Service, the children learn to worship with their parents. A table is provided where they may play or draw quietly during the sermon, under the supervision of their parents.

"What we have heard and known, what our ancestors have told us, we will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done" (Psalm 78)

Junior Church Fundraising for Japan
On Saturday the 19th of June, seven children gathered to decorate cupcakes, to raise money to sent help the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, via the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Cresent Societies.
The Children spent more than two hours having a wonderful time giving vent to their creative side and coming up with the most fantastic designs for the cupcakes. In addition we talk briefly about why we were raising the money and what it was to donate.
These cupcakes were then offered, along with other fabulous contributions from other members of the Church, at the afternoon tea following our 5pm service. Thanks to the generous nature of our congregation we managed to raise CHf 538 to send to the IFRC for Japan.
