Services and Meetings

Services

We currently meet twice a month, on the first and third Sundays of the month at La Coudre, See Map (premises of the Swiss Reformed Church of Neuchâtel).

1st Sunday at 10am:       Communion Service
                                         & Junior Church

3rd Sunday at 5pm:         Family / All Age Worship and
                                         Communion Service

  • Our services are friendly and informal - attendance up to about 40+ people on a normal Sunday.
  • Although our members come from various Christian denominations, our services are normally taken from the Anglican Common Worship.
  • Our music is a mixture of traditional hymns and modern songs.
  • Drinks and snacks are served after the service during a time of fellowship, providing occasion to meet visitors and friends.

Alpha Courses

«Christians will always be fascinated by the founder of their faith and the Lord of their lives.  But now, there is a resurgence of interest among non-churchgoers.  Many are asking questions about Jesus.  Was he merely a man or is he the Son of God?  If he is, what are the implications for our everyday lives?»

Nicky Gumbel, pioneer of the Alpha course

The course involves small groups or ≈10 people, hosted by one or two leaders whose role is to facilitate and encourage discussion.  It lasts over 15 weekly sessions.  The purpose of the course is to ask those questions you've ALWAYS wanted to ask.

For further information about the courses please email:info@english-church.ch

The basis of the course is Nicky Gumbel's book "ALPHA, Questions of Life".

Some courses are held over morning coffee, some are evening courses, typically lasting two hours.  Whatever the course size or structure, people get to know each other, continue discussions and deepen friendships.

Weekend Seminars

Teaching days, sometimes a weekend away, are arranged once or twice a year.  It is a great opportunity to come together in fellowship and deepen our awareness of the Lord's purpose and plan.
